Founder and designer of E&W Couture Sophie Creed’s mission was to encourage all brides to stay true to themselves when selecting their bridal gown. 9 years on from the creation of her very first collection in 2014, she has achieved this by continuously producing a plethora of statement gowns that allow less traditional brides to showcase their unique personality and authenticity.
Combining bold floral prints, floaty sleeves, ruffled hems and dreamy lace detailing, E&W Couture gowns allow you to bring your vintage bridal gown vision to life.
Each E&W piece is expertly designed and crafted in Sophie’s atelier in Cardiff, Wales. E&W Couture strive to keep our ethical policies and sustainability commitments at the forefront of their work. Each collection is made entirely from ethical and sustainable fabrics, limiting carbon emissions significantly. They are working towards offsetting their carbon emissions by funding reforestation projects on Ecologi, planting extra every time a piece from their PURPOSE collection is sold!

Who are E&W Couture?
E&W Couture is an independent, female-founded bridal studio based in Cardiff, launched in 2014 by designer Sophie Creed. Sophie set out to break the mould of traditional bridal, and everything she creates is designed and sewn in-house in Wales, using ethically sourced fabrics and slow-fashion principles that keep sustainability at the heart of the brand.
Where can I try on an E&W Couture gown?
You can browse our E&W Couture samples at the Camden Passage store in Islington, North London. Our current samples are a UK 12, and our stylists will gently clip and pin them so you can visualise how the gown will look once it is made in your own size.
How much do E&W Couture wedding dresses cost?
The E&W Couture permanent collection at Angelica Bridal is priced from £1,890 to £3,200, reflecting the fact that every gown is handmade in the UK using considered, sustainable fabrics. How long do E&W Couture gowns take to arrive?
Because each E&W Couture gown is cut and sewn to order in Sophie’s Cardiff atelier, we typically ask you to allow around 5 to 6 months between placing your order and collection. We generally suggest kicking off your dress search 9 to 12 months ahead of your wedding, which builds in a comfortable window for the gown to be made and for any alterations afterwards. If your date is closer, please give us a shout, as rush production may be possible or we can steer you towards a sample gown to take home.

Your stylist will chat through exactly which tweaks are possible for the design you fall for, so the final gown feels genuinely made for you.
