Our Liverpool Road store has been lovingly created to offer an eclectic collection of plus size wedding dresses, made using the best silhouettes, modern luxury fabrics, and an inclusive size range with sample sizes from UK 16 to 28+. We’re proud to help brides of all sizes find a gown that feels truly theirs.

The collection at Liverpool Road has been carefully curated after many years spent listening to and working with brides of different shapes and sizes. We truly want our gowns to match our customers’ needs, helping them find their true inner style and confidence. We offer a one-on-one personal bridal shopping experience with one of our dedicated expert stylists, who will guide you to your perfect gown and accessories.

We showcase international bridal designers with a modern and feminine twist in mind, including off the shoulder, lace and bohemian styles. Our store is by appointment only, ensuring you and your bridal party will receive undivided attention when finding your perfect gown.

Helping brides of all sizes feel beautiful and confident, from size 16 through to plus size, is our goal.

Price range: from £1200 to £3500
Samples sizes range: from UK 16 to 28+

Parking: Please note if you are driving you will have to park down one of the side roads, parking in the Islington Borough starts from £20 p/h

I had the best experience at Angelica Bridal. Elana was incredibly helpful, so patient, and gave me such thoughtful advice throughout the appointment. She even picked out the dress I ended up saying yes to. I felt completely supported from start to finish. Would absolutely recommend!!

I had a wonderful experience finding my wedding dress with Angelica Bridal. I was quite far into my dress shopping journey when I first visited, as I thought I had already found ‘the one’ at another shop but to be absolutely sure I wanted to try on one particular dress that I had seen online which happened to be stocked as a sample at Angelica Bridal. When I visited Paige had the dress out and ready for me and she looked after me really well, creating a lovely chilled atmosphere without any hard sell (notable as I did experience pushiness in certain other bridal shops which really put me off them!) After a second try on and spending a bit of time torn between the two dresses, I went with the one from Angelica Bridal and I am so glad I did, as the dress was just perfect and I can’t now imagine having worn anything else. The price was fair and the ordering process was smooth. The team kept me well informed of delivery times and process, helped me pick out a veil and also recommended a great tailor for alterations. Would highly recommend Angelica Bridal to anyone who is wedding dress shopping.

I was so excited to visit this shop, making the trip cross country to visit!
After visiting 2 other bridal shops I had general expectations of how the visit would go, one being a designer boutique and the other being a walk in shop, unfortunately I didn’t feel quite as looked after at this one.

I was told to just “have a look around”
And left to myself which was quite overwhelming and I think if it was my first time it would feel so daunting!
The first shop I went to, the assistant picked lots of dresses out for me to try, categorised them and put so much effort into matching me with my dream dress, from picking out accessories to asking for my inspiration. I tried on so many I would never have picked out myself!

As I was trying dresses on at Angelical Bridal the sales assistant was quiet unless we asked her questions, again left me wondering whether I looked okay, if I didn’t suit the dress and she was just being polite…it was quite a cold experience and we had quite a limited time frame compared to other shops, it felt hurried and more transactional rather than a special, exciting experience.

The assistant was lovely, answered all of our questions with detail and there are some stunning dresses in there, but I didn’t feel like I was encouraged to buy anything ❤️‍🩹

I had a lovely experience choosing my wedding dress. The stylist was so sweet and supportive. Not pushy at all. We were greeted with some bubbly and given time to look around the store to see if there were any other dresses I wanted to try on that I had not pre-selected. It turns out the one I chose was one I spotted there and then and that the stylist had also recommended to me. All the stylists I interacted with at Angelica Bridal were body positive and just super encouraging and confidence building. They even negotiated a free veil from the dress designer for me. Brilliant experience!

My maid of honour and I had such a wonderful time trying on dresses at Angelica yesterday. It was such a lovely bright intimate space and Sophie our stylist was incredibly helpful and kind, pulling out really great extra options that we hadn’t considered and writing out the prices and names of our favourite dresses on a card for us to take away. I expect we will be back soon to place an order as there’s one dress I can’t stop thinking about!

I had a lovely time with Jess. She was really patient, making sure my appointment was an enjoyable, non rushed experience. They have a large selection of styles of gown and she expertly explained how they could look, after they had been tailored for me. I came out of the shop feeling excited about my choices! I had a really positive experience and found my perfect dress here! Aideen was amazing and really helped me when I wasn't sure what kind of dress I would like. I had tried one other wedding dress shop and much preferred Angelica Bridal in terms of the relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The communication from Angelica Bridal was excellent (which was important as I live overseas so had very limited timings) and I was particularly pleased with the help in finding a sparkly belt to add to the front of my dress. On the day itself I felt beautiful, comfortable and completely myself. Thank you so much for your help!
